CONTEST RULES – WIN A FREE “TWO-DAY PASS” FOR MARKETING ANALYTICS SUMMIT 2019 BERLIN

The following rules (the “Contest Rules”) apply to the contest made available via the Adverity LinkedIn page for a “Marketing Analytics Summit Two-Day Pass” to the Marketing Analytics Summit Berlin 2019 (the “Contest”).

The Contest is organized, promoted and carried out by Adverity GmbH, a company with company registration number 448481g, registered at Handelsgericht Wien, Austria, having its registered business address at Mariahilfer Strasse 41-43/Top B6 1060 Vienna, Austria (“Adverity”).

For the purposes of these Contest Rules any reference to “Participant(s)” shall mean user(s) of the platform “LinkedIn”, provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (“LinkedIn”), participating in the Contest.

By participating in this Contest according to these Contest Rules, the Participants express their consent to not only be bound by the terms of the Contest Rules, but also for the processing of their personal data related to the participation in the Contest in accordance with the relevant Personal Data Protection Guidelines of Adverity.

Prize

The prize that will be awarded to the winner of the Contest consists of a single Marketing Analytics Summit two-day pass (value:€1,095.00) for one person for the Marketing Analytics Summit 2019 in Berlin. More information about this event can be found under the following link: https://marketinganalyticssummit.de/.

No additional costs related to the participation in the Marketing Analytics Summit (such as accommodation, flight or visa charges) will be covered or arranged by Adverity.

The prize is not transferable to other persons. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability and Adverity reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Participation

The entry period for the Contest begins in October 22, 2019 and ends on November 5, 2019, at 6 PM (CET – Central European Time).

In order to participate in this Contest, the Participants are required to:

  • post a comment under the #MarketingAnalyticsSummit competition post in which the Participant mentions the reason why they want to attend this event and tags another LinkedIn user that he/she hopes to meet at this event.

It is held for the record that the LinkedIn users tagged in the comments posted according to the above instructions shall not be regarded as Participants.

Employees of Adverity and their family members shall not be permitted to enter the Contest.

Winner

The winner will be drawn by Adverity from the Participants who have met the requirements of participation in the Contest stipulated in these Contest Rules by using a random selection tool. The draw will take place on November 6, 2019.

Adverity will contact the winner by sending a LinkedIn message within 3 (three) working days following the draw. The winner is required to reply to the said message confirming the acceptance of the prize.

If the winner fails to respond to the said message within 3 (three) working days after the message has been sent by Adverity, or expressly does not accept the prize, Adverity reserves the right to withdraw the prize.

By accepting the prize, the winner expresses his/her consent for Adverity to announce his/her name as the winner of the Contest on the Adverity LinkedIn profile in form of a comment or a separate post.

Liability

Adverity shall not be liable in any way for any circumstances that are outside the scope of its control. Particularly, Adverity shall not be liable for any circumstances related to the organization of the Marketing Analytics Summit Belin 2019.

The winner of the Contest is solely responsible for the performance of any additional steps or measures required in order to register his/her participation in the Marketing Analytics Summit Berlin 2019. Adverity shall not be liable for any failure of the winner to fulfill any additional requirements related to his/her participation in the Marketing Analytics Summit Berlin 2019. Adverity shall not be obliged to provide the winner with any further support of any kind connected to his/her participation in the Marketing Analytics Summit Berlin 2019.

Adverity’s decisions in respect of all matters related to this Contest shall be final and not subject to any appeal. No further or additional correspondence with Participants will be considered or entered into.

General Provisions

Adverity reserves the right to cancel or amend any conditions of the Contest without notice, including, but not limited to these Contest Rules, at any time. Any such changes shall be notified to the Participants in due time.
